RESPETRA RESCUE CHAMBER
In cases of emergency, the shelter provides extra time and flexibility for making a rescue plan and implementing measures. The shelter works completely independently and is always ready to use and holds all the necessary equipment to cover operation up to three days. The shelter is gastight and has normal breathing air inside. There is no need to use breathing masks. The entrance area prevents gases from accessing the actual shelter.
The RESPETRA protective shelter is design protected.

Respetra shelters are designed and manufactured for demanding conditions by the customer listening. Therefore, we offer Respetra with already proven features, but also suitable for different environments.
This indicates that the standard equipment is adaptable and has different connectivity options the space between the controlrum and its final disposal site. For a maximum of eight persons, and due to its small size, durable structure and easily movability, it can be placed close to the excavation site. Operating time can be adjusted between 8 – 72 hours according to local needs and safety regulations.
The material used for the protective shelter is special stainless steel made by Outokumpu Oy, the benefits of which are:
- Low servicing and lifecycle costs
- No surface treatment required, so there are no paint odours
- Endures fluctuations in pressure many times over compared to structural steel
- The rounded surfaces increase pressure fluctuation endurance and ensure the gastight properties of the protective shelter

MAINTENANCE FOR YOUR RESCUE CHAMBER
Maintenance of RESPETRA chamber ensures that the chamber is functional. Maintenance is done every one year. The maintenance organization has up-to-date information on the maintenance needs of the chamber. An authorized service technician will contact the customer and agree on the maintenance time.
Service checks the equipment for functionality, replaces replacement components at regular intervals, and provides a customer service report. In addition, a service sticker will be affixed inside the chamber for possible regulatory inspections to indicate the service performed and the date of the next service.
